About APT
The Academy of Performance Training, or APT, is a part-time evening vocational drama
school taking acting training into an exciting new era.
Our courses are designed for everyone. This maybe for those who wish to pursue acting
as a leisure interest or to prepare for full time training.
Also for individuals whose work involves dealing with the public, emergency services,
boards or businesses, the Course is an ideal way to improve your self-confidence
and public speaking skills, or perhaps just to enjoy a new activity.
We offer affordable training over one or two evenings a week to anyone over the
age of 16 with no upper age limit.
The training given is by current professionals inspired by a firm foundation of
Technique, Method and Analysis providing you with solid underpinnings to help you
achieve the very best you can as an Actor and as a confident and capable Individual.
APT tutors are dedicated to helping you achieve the most from your time with us.
This vital aspect, together with guest Master Classes, ensures our training always
remains relevant and enjoyable.
Location
APT runs courses located at two bases.
- Chichester, West Sussex.
- Guildford, Surrey.

Time
APT's courses run weekday evenings from 7pm – 10pm.
